Traveling with Clan Irwin
Do you want to go to Scotland?
Clan Irwin Association has a proud history of sponsoring trips to Scotland for members and friends. Our most recent trip was in May 2025. If you are a member of the Association, you can read the reports from some of those in the tour group, published in The Holly Leaf Chronicle.
We have not set the dates for the next trip (we plan them every two years), but we are already planning! The 2025 itinerary is shown below so that you can get an idea of the exciting places that we can visit in 2027!
Please use the form below so that we can make sure you are sent information about the next trip. For questions, please email [email protected].
What we did in 2025!
Below is the itinerary that we followed for our last trip to Scotland. Our next trip will have similar destinations. If you have a specific place you would like to visit please email us at [email protected] or use the form below.
When we plan the tour, we contact a tour operator and let them know the primary places we want to visit and let them fill in with other stops along the way. They make arrangements for transportation in Scotland, hotels, most of the meals, and pay for admittance to the attractions we visit. They provide a tour guide who can make adjustments in the schedule as needed, and provide historical information about the sites. Of course we always visit Drum Castle, home of Clan Irvine for 700 years (now owned by NTS), and Bonshaw Tower (owned by Christopher and Claire Irving), home of Clan Irving for centuries. Transportation to Scotland is provided by each tour participant as we come from all over the U.S., Canada, England, and Scotland. The cost of the tour historically has been around $4,500 plus airfare, for someone sharing, and more for a single.
