At their 2024 Games in Gulfport, MS, the Mississippi Highlands and Islands Association of Celtic Gatherings chose Clan Irwin Association to be the Honored Clan for 2025. The committee who organizes the games each year, votes on the Clans, based upon the presentation of the tent and the manner in which the clan members interact with the public. Clan Irwin Association was also the Honored Clan at CelticFest on the Rez, Brandon, MS earlier this year.
