Colorado Scottish Festival        

Aug 4-5, 2018

Snowmass Village, CO                 

The Colorado Scottish Festival is the only free Scottish Festival in Colorado, the highest Scottish Festival in the world, and the only Scottish Festival we know of anywhere in the world that is held completely inside a village!  Beautiful Snowmass Village.

There will be Great Highland athletes, bagpipe bands, Highland and Irish dancers, musicians, vendors, Dogs of the British Isles, children’s activities and the Renaissance Scots, the Festival is fun for all ages and the Whisky Tasting and Thistle Club are immensely popular.

Fergus Festival and Scottish Games

The Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games is an annual three-day event that celebrates local Scottish heritage and features world-renowned talent and entertainment in the beautiful town of Fergus, Ontario. 

There’s something for everyone. Celtic Music, crafts for the kids, heavy events championships, bagpipes, drums, author appearances, bands, Highland dancing, storytelling, singing, genealogy and heritage, beer tents, artisans and vendors galore! 

This year’s festival features: World and National Scottish Heavy Events Competitions, Pipe Band Competitions, Military Tattoo, Highland Dancers, over 60 Clans, Heritage Tent, research tools and lectures in the Genealogy Centre, Avenue of the Artisans, McKiddie’s Centre, Celtic musicians and over 100 international vendors.

Celtic Highland Games and Clan Gathering           

August 25-26, 2018

43 SE Thompson Ave.
Riverbend Park
Winston, Oregon, 97496

Edged Weapon Competition - originated at these Games. Competitors use axes, swords and bows on a series of tests. The winner being dubbed the Lord High Protectorate of the Games.

Vendors - Celtic, Irish, Scottish goods. Traditional and American food.

Heavy Scottish Athletics - Started in the Highlands of Scotland to find the clan Chief's champion. Some of the events are the caber toss, hammer throw, stone put and more.


Heritage: Family Clan tents. Kids Heritage tent. History Kiosk and Info booth.
